Additionally, Sparsha Trust assisted in my children's education by providing stationary items and school bags, ensuring they could continue their studies.
I am Hemavati from Soganahalli village in HD Kote, a tribal area of Mysore District. My husband, Anjinappa, worked as a daily wage laborer, earning Rs. 60,000 per annum. We had a happy family with two children – Tejaswi, our elder son studying in 1st PUC, and our second daughter in 8th standard at the Government School in HD Kote.Unfortunately, during the pandemic, my husband, the sole breadwinner, succumbed to COVID-19. Struggling with grief, we received minimal help from close family members and neighbours. A Sparsha Trust member visited our home, inquired about the circumstances of my husband’s death, and collected the necessary documents and information. The support began with the provision of ration kits, supplied twice within two months. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Sparsha Trust team for offering a helping hand during this challenging time, not only for me but for all those in need.
