Facing financial constraints, we couldn't even afford a single piece of fruit, but Sparsha Trust, through the Avani project, ensured that we received fruits and nutritious food.

I am Bhanu, and along with my husband Maulasabh and our son Abdul Kadar, we migrated from Bellary district to Bengaluru in pursuit of a livelihood and to repay our debts. Upon our arrival, we faced considerable challenges, particularly in finding a safe place for our child while we were at work. In this difficult situation, we placed our trust in Sparsha Trust’s mobile creches, which provided excellent care for our child, allowing us to work without worry. The teachers, staff, and helpers have consistently been a source of support.

However, when the COVID-19 lockdown was imposed, our circumstances took a turn for the worse. We found ourselves struggling to make ends meet and afford necessities like food. During this challenging period, Sparsha Trust stepped in and distributed essential ration kits, offering much-needed relief. Additionally, during my second pregnancy, Sparsha Trust provided a nutrition kit and guided us on regular checkups with a qualified doctor. I am eternally grateful to Sparsha Trust and its supporters for their unwavering assistance during our difficult times.

In the midst of poverty and uncertainty, Sparsha Trust's unwavering support provided me with not just nutrition but a lifeline of hope, ensuring a healthy start for my newborn in the heart of Bangalore.

My name is Rita, and I come from a small village in Bihar. We belong very poor family and we could not afford single meal. When our neighbors told us about a job opportunity to work as a coolie in Bengaluru, we chose to relocate to Bangalore with only two pairs of clothes. We slowly managed to buy things which is required for living. After a few days, I became pregnant for the second time and became concerned about how I would manage the costs for consuming nutritious food and paying for the doctor. Fortunately, I came across the Sparsha trust, which was offering free monthly nutrition kits containing Ghee, Jaggery, Dry coconut, dates, Anjur, Badam, dry grapes, horlicks and hygiene kits, as well as milk and banana as daily nutrition and free doctor checkups. I was delighted to see such support from them, and I joined for the Avani. Given that I could not afford a single meal, so I felt extremely blessed to have such help during my pregnancy. I was blessed with a healthy girl child. I am especially grateful to Sparsha for assisting countless women like me. May God reward all who are responsible for such outstanding service.
