Across India and in Karnataka, growing numbers of older adults and homeless individuals face the twin challenges of social isolation and the absence of safe, secure shelter. Many seniors live alone, without adequate care or community connection, while people experiencing homelessness sleep in unsafe public spaces, exposed to harsh weather, illness, and neglect.
Nurturing Seniors, Embracing the Homeless responds to this urgent need through Sparsha Namma Mane - a network of inclusive residential centres that provide shelter, nutritious food, healthcare, and pathways to rehabilitation. These homes offer more than a roof - they restore dignity, belonging, and purpose to the elderly and the homeless, helping them rebuild their lives within a caring community.
