Dr. D.S. Krishna is the president of Sparsha Trust. He hails from a rural background family and completed his primary education in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. He is post graduate in Master of Social Work (MSW) and awarded PhD from Mysore University. He has a vast experience on educational issues, policies and current developments related to education and social issues. He was convener and organising committee member for many state and national level educational seminars which were main inputs for the policy makers. He was also a Syndicate Member of Bangalore University where his contribution to uplift the downtrodden students are recognised. He also served as governing council member of prominent educational institutions of Bangalore.

Mr. Gopinath. R is the Managing Trustee and founder of Sparsha Trust. He is from a village with agricultural family background near Kolar, Karnataka. Earned his MSW in 2004 and involved himself in social activities from his school days, undergone various social threats from his childhood which made him to build a strong organization, Sparsha Trust to get every child back to school. From 2009, more than 2500 children are rescued and rehabilitated. State Government has recognized and awarded as best Non-Government Organization (NGO) for the year 2014. Sri Sri Award has been honored in the Year 2013 as a best social worker by Art of Living Team. Gopinath also attended National and International Seminars and Conferences.

Srikanth Ekambaram is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, and is currently the Chief Finance Officer of Terex in India. He has a rich experience of 25+ years working with couple of Foreign and Indian multinationals like ALSTOM/Areva, Volvo and SRF. He has been actively involved with Sparsha from the year 2010. He is one of the committee members for the “Nisarga Grama” project and has supported the cause of NG by being part of each of the activities for bringing NG to the current shape, by raising funds. He gives a lot of positive energy to the team, particularly when the team goes through a tough phase. He and his wife is directly attached to the Center in Sanjeevini Nagar by organising milk for the children every day (through a Doctor who supports the cause), buying books and bags for the children at the beginning of the academic year, new clothes for the children during festival etc. He oversees the financials of the Sparsha to ensure proper accounting.

Ranganatha G.R. is an HR Professional having eleven plus years of experience. Currently he is working as HR Manager for Wipro GE healthcare and project manager Operations Management Leadership Program. He started his career with Molex and had a small stint in Makino Machine tools. He worked for ABB for a little more than a half decade in various roles; his last role in ABB was Location Human Resource Manager for Mysore Plant. His significant achievements are successful business integration and consolidation of the business while maintaining harmonious industrial relation, and signing a wage agreement with the union. He secured his master’s degree in “Social Work” specialized Industrial Relations and personnel management from Garden City College in 2004. He also holds a post-graduation degree on “Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy” from Kuvempu University. During his career spanning more than 30 years has flown many multi engine transport aircraft. He has not only taken part in 3 major wars that India had to fight also many peace keeping operations within and outside the country. Mr. Shashidhar M. Kotian holds a B.E. and M.Tech degree and hails from Mangalore. He has a postgraduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering and currently serves as a Manager at Kennametal.
